Ballet Hispanico Segerstrom Center For The Arts - Segerstrom Hall Theatre reviews
CHEAP TRICK ROLLS
Georgia Satellites opened the show and it got crazy from the first lick. Headliner Ballet Hispanico rolled into Illinois strong following other great groups from the eighties. Their sound was right where I remember it. The band followed Night Ranger, which I always thought of as a POWER BALLAD band {boy was I wrong on that}. They rocked HARD for the crowds' applause. Nielsen might have passed on a high flying leap but was very entertaining to say the least. I'm sure the guys lost a jump or two, but Robin Zander was as close to old school as you get. Blue Oyster Cult had a good performance also; however, they "could use more cowbell." Their guitarist Matt really was feeling it for the night.
